Announcing Brisbane’s Newest Improv Workshops!

Writer's picture: Jenny WynterJenny Wynter

I’m so excited and I just can’t hide it. The cliche that is. Of being so excited that I just can’t hide it.

AGH!

I’m completely stoked/overwhelmed/exploding with fuzziness, to announce my latest birth and it involved absolutely no gas whatsoever. Inconceivable! (Pun intended).

For quite a while now I’ve been wanting to start up some training in Bris, something more than just the odd workshop here and there, something which I can then grow into its own unique improv performance company. A place into which I can fully commit and inject my passion for improv by sharing some of the incredible things I have had the truly great privilege to learn from some of the best teachers on this planet.

Unfortunately, such plans – amongst others – were derailed earlier this year by a little pain in the butt known as a head-on collision.

But now…at the risk of sounding like Peter Garrett (oh, who am I kidding? It’s not a risk! It’s just plain happening, people!): THE TIME HAS COME!

AAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!

Details below – please by all means feel free to spread this cybersplather to anybody you feel might be interested.

Now excuse me. I believe I need some chammomile. XX

I acknowledge the Gubbi Gubbi, Wakka Wakka and Butchulla peoples, the First Nation Traditional Owners of Country, and custodians of the land and waters on which I live and work, and all the peoples who have welcomed me on Country. I pay respects to all Elders past and present and acknowledge the young leaders who are working beside Elders in our cultural industries in the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices. I recognise all First Nation peoples as the original storytellers of these lands and acknowledge the important role they continue to play in our community.
