“I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed [Cake Daahlings] and benefited from it. I appreciate it so much. It's opened doors for me I didn't even realise were there. Thank you.”

Imagine:

Writing by a cosy fire with a bunch of like-minded souls, in a weekend full of nourishing creativity, relaxation and laughter.

Having juicy chats into the evening about life, creativity and pursuing passions over hot chocolate and mulled wine.

Being inspired by creative exercises, writing prompts and other activities to get those juices flowing.

Having focused writing time to make some serious headway on your projects and ideas.

And if that’s not all delicious enough, of course each and every day there will be…

CAKE!

Bring a project to work on - or come with an open mind and see what sparks in you.

“Apart from the writing exercises, creative mindset work, and getting brave enough to share my writing with others, I enjoyed belly laughs every week! Jenny was an expert and fun facilitator and the group were so supportive… writing is again part of my everyday life. I’ve started to work purposely on my writing, which is that goal I set every year and never get around to.”

"Writing has always been something I struggle with... I’ve attempted to keep written journals, but I couldn't seem to find the words... Jenny really helped me break that cycle, with simple writing exercises and an incredibly supportive small group of other attendees, has finally helped my written voice emerge!"

I acknowledge the Gubbi Gubbi, Wakka Wakka and Butchulla peoples, the First Nation Traditional Owners of Country, and custodians of the land and waters on which I live and work, and all the peoples who have welcomed me on Country. I pay respects to all Elders past and present and acknowledge the young leaders who are working beside Elders in our cultural industries in the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices. I recognise all First Nation peoples as the original storytellers of these lands and acknowledge the important role they continue to play in our community.
